Most people prefer to play ROM hacks with the original starter Pokémon in them. As you might imagine, these ROM hacks can be a bit jarring. These are games that borrow the sprites and graphics from original games and insert ones from the Pokémon game series of the current generation.
If you’re a Pokémon fan, you’ve probably heard of Pokémon ROM hacks. To fill in the blanks and make the trainer’s experience more interesting, some players will modify the game’s ROM to add new Pokémon, and then use past experiences with the Pokémon to make educated guesses as to what its final form will take.
Every Pokémon trainer has a favorite Pokémon, and when that Pokémon is captured and evolved, its journey through the game never truly ends.
